Getting started
Get started with DeckSequence
Updated
DeckSequence keeps the record of every match you play, at locals or on PTCG Live, so you can see what's winning. Setting up takes three steps: your profile, a deck, and your first match.
1. Set up your profile
Add your PTCG Live username, so DeckSequence knows which side of a battle log is yours. In the app it's under Account, then Profile. On the web it's in Account settings. Enter it exactly as it appears in PTCG Live.
If you play PTCG Live, turn on card IDs there too. Battle logs and deck exports need them for DeckSequence to read every card.
2. Add your deck
Every match is logged against a deck, so add one first. The quickest way is to paste the list you already have from PTCG Live or Limitless. Import a decklist walks through it.
When you change the list later, save it as a new version. Your matches stay with the version you played them on, so you can compare lists. Deck versions explains the choices.
3. Log your first match
Open Log a Match after each match you play.
- On PTCG Live: paste the battle log, and DeckSequence builds a turn-by-turn replay and counts the cards you played. See Log a PTCG Live match.
- In person: log the result, the opponent's deck, turn order and prizes in a few taps, even with no signal. See Log a paper match.
Reuse opponent deck names where you can. Matches under the same name count as one matchup.
Keep your matches together
- Sessions group the matches from one sitting, like a night at locals or a ladder grind. See Group your matches into sessions.
- Tournaments track an event round by round, with IDs, byes and how it ended. See Track a tournament.
Your trial
Every new account starts with Pro as a free trial, with no card needed. Pro adds win rates per matchup and per deck version, and card usage from your battle logs. Free vs Pro lists what each includes.
