Getting started
Log a paper match
Updated
A paper match takes the same form as a PTCG Live match, without the battle log. It saves even with no signal at the venue, and syncs once you're back online.
Log the match
- Open Log a Match. If you have no decks yet, create one first. Import a decklist shows how.
- Pick the Result: Win, Loss or Tie.
- Check Date, Deck and Deck Version. They start on today, your active deck and its latest version.
- Enter the Opponent deck. Reuse a name you've logged before where you can, because matches under the same name count as one matchup.
- Add up to two Opponent sprites if you like, so the match is easy to spot later.
- Set Turn order and the prizes each player had left.
- Under Environment, choose where you played: In-Person, Locals, Regionals or Online.
- Add Notes if you want to remember something about the match.
- Tap Submit in the app, or Log Game on the web.
Logging a whole evening
Tick Start a session with this match before you submit. The session groups every match you log after it, so a night at locals reads as one block in your history. Group your matches into sessions has more.
Matches at a tournament
At a tournament, add each round from the tournament instead. It already knows your deck, version and date, so a round is just the result of each game, who went first, and your opponent's deck. Track a tournament shows how.
