Getting started
Import a decklist from PTCG Live or Limitless
Updated
The quickest way to add a deck is to paste the list you already have. DeckSequence reads PTCG Live and Limitless exports.
Create a deck from a list
- In Decks, tap Create Deck.
- Give the deck a name, and pick up to two Pokémon sprites if you like.
- Paste the export into Deck list. Leave it empty to build the deck card by card instead.
- Tap Create Deck.
Each line in an export ends with the card's set code and number, like 3 Dreepy TWM 128. That's how DeckSequence finds the exact card. A PTCG Live export also ends with a Total Cards line, and the card counts must add up to it.
If some cards didn't match
When every card is found, the new deck opens straight away. Otherwise you see which cards need your attention, each flagged for review. Open the deck and fix or replace them.
Errors when you paste
- "This export is missing Card IDs." The export was copied with card IDs hidden, so the lines have no set code or number. Turn on card IDs in PTCG Live and export the deck again.
- "Card counts add up to … but the deck list says …" Part of the list didn't paste. Copy the whole export again.
- "Unrecognized line in deck export." A line isn't a card. The error quotes it, so you can delete it and paste again.
Update a deck you already have
To bring an existing deck in line with a new list:
- Open the deck and tap Add Cards, then choose Paste.
- Paste the export. Only the cards that differ are added, removed or changed, and you see the changes before anything is applied.
- Tap Apply to draft, then Save, and choose how to save the change.
Saving asks whether the change is a new version, a new deck, or a fix to the current version. Deck versions explains which to pick.
