Deck versions: new version, new deck, or override
Updated
Every deck keeps its history as versions, like v1.0, v1.1 and v1.2. Each match you log belongs to one version, so you can see how a change, like +2 Super Rod / −2 Iono, played out.
Saving a change
After you edit a deck's cards, tap Save. The Save this change sheet shows what changed and asks how to save it:
- Create minor version (the default). Saves the cards as a new version,
v1.3tov1.4. Earlier versions and their matches stay exactly as they were. Pick this for a normal list change. - Fork to new deck. Starts a separate deck at
v1.0with the new cards and its own history. The original deck is left untouched. Pick this when the list has become a different deck. - Override this version. Rewrites the current version's cards in place. Its matches stay attached to it. Pick this only to fix a mistake, like a miscounted card, because the old list is gone afterwards.
The web words these as Create Minor Version, Fork to New Major Archetype and Override Current Version. They do the same things.
Which version a match counts for
You pick the version when you log a match, under Deck Version. It starts on the deck's latest version. Saving a new version never moves matches you already logged.
See every version
Open the deck and choose Versions. Newest comes first, and each version shows what changed from the one it came from, how many matches it has, and its card count. Performance opens that version's numbers.
Match counts are free. The record and win rate for each version are part of Pro.
